Teaching Artist 

Chandry’s experience in early childhood education has helped her develop age appropriate pedagogy in children’s music instruction. In addition to performing, in New York City Chandry worked as an early childhood piano instructor and operated a private piano studio from her home. She was a piano and voice faculty member at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music for several years, where she enjoyed teaching young children, teens, and adults the joy of musicianship. Chandry is also an experienced teaching artist with years of experience in classroom teaching in grades kindergarten and first grade. She is additionally experienced in Dalcroze Eurhythmics, a pedagogy in which kinesthetic movement, ear training, solfegetto, and improvisation are key components in learning and enjoying music.

Chandry regards herself as truly lucky as someone who gets to do what she loves! Creating, refining, performing, sharing, teaching, repeating the process, it is a gift that she is honored to explore and experience with others.
